In this brief mini-workshop we will circle up and do what I call, “speed date the pelvic floor.” All the major things you need to know about the purpose of this special group of muscles in a short amount of time. Then we will move on to discuss:
How to develop a subtle sense of feeling in your pelvic floor through breathing
Finding the different parts of the pelvic floor to optimize the proper kegel exercise
Breath and posture for kegel exercise practice (hint: same as for life!)
Why many women should not be doing kegels
What you can do if you’re in the “no kegel fly zone.”
The knack maneuver for stopping unwanted leaks-- how and when to use it
Importantly time for Q & A!!
This workshop is for women only and is appropriate for any age, pregnant, postpartum or non childbearing individuals. Due to the highly important nature of this work and the need to focus fully on the subtle body, no babies are allowed at this workshop.
