Mama Love with Paige & Sarah

A mother’s prayer carries the strongest vibration to create the greatest impact on her child. On Mother's Day you are invited to sit in that space of the Mother’s prayer to grow, heal and enliven the spirit. Paige and Sarah will co-create a space for honor, healing, loving, opening and exploring the relationship of the Divine Mother in our hearts. You can be the mother of a business, a child, your family, or a creation all your own. Paige will lead a fluid and warming Vinyasa practice intending to build warmth from within and free the body of restrictions and limitations. Sarah will compliment the warming flow with Kundalini inspired movement and meditation to shift energy from feeling stuck and heavy to elevated and light. We’ll finish the class with extended Savasana and Sound Bath from the deeply healing Gong. You will experience your own greatness and hear the call of the Divine Mother to be your most beautiful and truest Self on a day that is meant to celebrate your Sacred Feminine and all the generations of women who instilled in your such power and grace. Bring a mama, sister, daughter, aunt, friend! This class will catapult your day to feel special and celebratory, no matter what how traditional or unconventional your Mother’s Day plans are!

Pressing Pause on "Mommy Juice" Gathering: to question the message that mamas need wine

It seems wherever we look there is a message that motherhood is something to survive and wine is an essential tool and your best ally in the struggle. WHAT?? Says who??

If you are a Mom the pressure is on, the struggles are real, and the stakes are high. But right now, for the first time there is an unprecedented push to target Moms as consumers of alcohol.

It’s time to press pause on the “Mommy Juice” memes and mindfully consider the real effects of Mama’s Little helper.

From Annie: Nearly three years ago I put down my last drink in an attempt to change my relationship to alcohol. At the time, my kids where 11 and 20. If I only knew when they were little what I know now!!

I am not a prohibitionist, but I am a dry life promoter dedicated to creating spaces where women can gather to support each other and catch a buzz from meaningful connection irl and on Instagram @henstails.

Please join me for an intimate gathering over mocktails to share concerns and questions about ways to thrive in motherhood without “Mommy Juice” – from tips for a sobriety tool box to “what to drink when you are not drinking”.

Birth Star with Danielle Jarecha

Birth Star with Danielle Jarecha

What is your birth star? In the Vedic System of Astrology this is considered one of the most important parts of the natal chart. It is the constellation that the moon was in at the time of your birth. This is the guiding light, so to speak, showing how you approach and experience your life. Many of us are familiar with our Moon Sign but the birth star is much more specific to you personally. This is why 3 people can have the same moon sign but be totally different. There are 3-4 constellations within each sign, totaling 27 Birth Stars, so almost one for every phase of the moon. In this workshop we will learn about lunar rhythms, how to utilize their energy, why it’s better to take action on some days more than others and how to connect to our true nature. EXACT birth information is needed for this, birthplace, birthdate and birth time.

Danielle has been a serious student of ancient yoga philosophies and Vedanta for over 15yrs and is a certified yoga teacher for 13yrs, completing 500hrs of training, including 200hrs with Sri Dharma Mittra.  Her lineage is in the Hatha Raja Yoga Tradition. She is certified with the title of Jyotish Ratna through ACVA (American College of Vedic Astrology) and Ayurvedic Astrologer from the American Institute of Vedic Studies. From an early age strong insights, spiritual experiences and an inner knowing of the non physical aspects of reality have fueled her studies and passions. Her desire to heal and grow spiritually and help others do the same is what motivates her.

She is the co-founder of Lakshmi Hair Studio and the creator of Mothercraft products, an organic line of herbal remedies for women and little one’s, crafted with intention using Vedic Astrology and Ancient Celtic Moon Wisdom. Her studies with herbs began after the birth of her son when he developed eczema as an infant. Healing herself through many modalities over the last 20yrs, it was only natural to do the same with her children. It was then that she started practicing alchemy, crafting her own herbal remedies and was motivated to officially study Herbalism, ultimately taking her to Ireland, her birth lineage, with an amazing medicine woman.

Mysticism and synchronicity were always an ongoing thread in her life and intuition has guided her every step of the way, becoming familiar with the darkness and the light. She has a gift of connecting deeply with people and has spent the last 10yrs professionally coaching others. Taking pilgrimages to sacred places all over the world is a passion of hers and something that has assisted her greatly on her spiritual journey. She has had two homebirths reflecting her trust in Spirit and the remembrance of the power all women behold within. Approaching and walking through these thresholds of birth has changed her in ways she’d never anticipate. Awakening to these truths has been the most fruitful journey for her to date!

Danielle teaches workshops incorporating Yoga, Vedic Astrology, Moon Wisdom & Herbs and does astrological consultations.

Healing Your Birth Story with Ilia Stranko

Giving birth doesn’t always go as we planned. Things happen quickly, and before you know it, your well-planned water birth is out the window. The next few months are a blur and when you re-tell your birth story there’s this pain you can’t quiet explain, this undercurrent of disappointment. We have no words for this pain because it “shouldn’t be there”, right? No one talks about what happens when things don’t go as planned and how you may or may not feel. Here’s the thing, you’re not alone. Many of us are grieving the loss of the birth we longed for, the birth we planned, the birth we dreamed of. You see no one tells you is this is not an ordinary “story”, your child’s birth becomes a defining moment in womanhood, in motherhood and how we view ourselves moving forward in the world. We never knew this moment was so defining, after all, we have a beautiful baby, right? Here’s the other part we don’t tell anyone we are grieving the birth we longed for, and if we do, they just don’t get it. It’s hard to explain we feel less than for accepting a medical intervention we thought we disagreed with.

Are you ready to release the disappointment from your birth story, forgive, meet other women who have been there and re-define yourself? Are you ready reclaim your power and shine a light on the truths of motherhood with a tribe of woman who have been there?

If you answered yes to any of these questions. This workshop is for you.

Ilia Stranko created this healing workshop after working with so many mothers - herself included - who all shared a deep wound over their birth story. She combines her expertise as a decade-long social worker; 3.5 years-long career as a licensed Massage Therapist, Reiki Master, and life coach; plus her personal experiences as a mama of twins, to welcome all mothers to this soul-affirming exploration.

Join us as we create a sacred place of healing through truth telling, journaling, and meditation. During this workshop you will release the grief associated with your birth story while reclaiming your power.
