Amanda's teaching is founded upon accessibility, inclusivity and safety. Amanda tries to cultivate an awareness and acceptance of the pregnant body in her classes. As a former birth doula and childbirth educator, Amanda's classes also give students tools and preparation for their labor and delivery. Amanda currently works as social worker for pregnant/parenting teenagers in the Philadelphia Public School District. She lives in Mount Airy with her partner and their beloved cat.
