Vaginal Steaming is a gentle and non-invasive tradition passed down by women from generation to generation, over thousands of years. It was most commonly facilitated by midwives for mothers after giving birth and during the first few weeks of the postpartum period. In recent years, case studies have shown that it improves symptoms in over 90% of gynecological problems. It also addresses the often neglected emotional and spiritual issues that reside within this sacred area of the body and allows you the space to reconnect with your womb and listen to her wisdom.
The workshop will begin with a hip-shaking dance of release followed by a meditative journey into the womb. After that we delve into the practical realm of supporting uterine health and womb self care and will answer the following questions:
-What is Vaginal Steaming?
-Where is it from?
-What does it treat?
-Why does it work?
-How do I get started?
-Which herbs do I use?
-When do I steam?
- Live demo* + Q & A
-What should I expect after steaming?
(*Those who wish to will have an opportunity to try out a steam for themselves!)
This workshop will empower you with the knowledge and tools to self treat any dis-ease that may occur in the reproductive system as well as how to maintain vibrant physical and emotional health in this sacred region of the female map. You will leave with a new, yet ancient, practice to incorporate into your self-care routine and ways to keep yourself connected with your sacred womb space.
